Formed circa 1874
Warkworth Cricket Club have played in the shadow of Warkworth
Castle for over 125 years. A proud history boasts generations
of players, many of whom's fathers, grandfathers and great
grandfathers before them were proud to wear the green and
gold club colours. Families such as the Howlistons, Hoggs,
Greens, Grays and Pringles have long been associated and involved
in moulding Warkworth into the club you see today.
There have been ups and downs of course, but the club and
success you see today is all down to a strong foundation.
